From player to recruiter.
After a final playing chapter that included Ponce FC, Ahinga retired from professional football in March 2026 and transitioned fully into recruitment, player placement and football operations. Experience on AFC Ann Arbor's technical side helped bridge the move from player to front-office work.

Played at the University of Michigan and UC Santa Barbara, earning All-Big West honors in both UCSB seasons.

Experience across North America and Europe, including Cavalry FC, One Knoxville SC, Valour FC and Gudja United.

Played for Laredo Heat and later Ponce FC in 2025 before moving fully into recruitment and player placement.

On July 3, 2025, Ahinga scored Laredo's second goal in a 2-0 win over Twin City Toucans. The result clinched the Lone Star Division title for the team.
